Just Call
it Love
Just Call It Love is a Spring 2026 movement-based community art project that invites people to express support for LGBTQIA+ neighbors through dance, motion, and embodied expression. By creating space for individuals to move in ways that feel personal and authentic, the project builds empathy, visibility, and solidarity at a local level while contributing to a broader national conversation around love, identity, and belonging. Together, these shared moments of movement transform personal expression into collective impact, while proudly supporting The Trevor Project, a leading nonprofit dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health support for LGBTQ+ young people through 24/7 crisis services, advocacy, education, and research.

1
Create Your Movement
Create a short movement video that expresses something meaningful to you: support, identity, love, belonging, release, joy, or connection. FOR INSPIRATION CLICK HERE
You can film:
In a studio
At home
Outdoors
On the street
Anywhere that feels authentic to you
Your movement might be:
A choreographed dance
A yoga or stretch flow
Freestyle movement
A simple gesture or repeated motion
A group piece with friends or family
A solo expression
Join the Collective Project
Individual videos become part of a larger shared work: a collective expression of support and solidarity.
Throughout the spring:
Participant videos will be shared and highlighted
Community members will be invited to take part in our project celebratory performance in June
Stories and reflections will be featured
A final compilation video will bring the project together
Together, these individual expressions create a visible wave of connection.

Videos can be simple and informal. A phone recording is perfect. This project is about expression, not perfection.
